I would like to wish every Museum member and family a Happy and Safe Thanksgiving. This year the holiday will be different with small gatherings, and phone and “Zoom” get-togethers. Hopefully, next year we will be able to return to our family traditions.
I will be having a Holiday “Zoom” greeting and museum update at 7:00 PM on December 2nd. (You will receive sign-on instructions before the event)
This year we are not having our annual “ Holiday Open House” in December because of the pandemic restrictions on the number of visitors to the Museum. However, we will be drawing the raffle quilt winner online via “Zoom” at 3:00 p.m. on Dec. 6th.
On Dec. 7th, Pearl Harbor Anniversary, at 7:00 p.m. we will be having a special tribute on “Zoom” to a long time Museum member, the late Bob Landis. This will include our 2015 “Home Town History” interview of Bob where he traces his life back to his youth in Asbury Park, his service in the Navy in World War II, his management experience at EAI, and in his retirement, his service to the Museum. Don't miss it! It is a personal look at an old friend.
