2024 Annual American Doll Tea

It’s time to get all “Dolled Up” at the Township of Ocean Historical Museum’s American Doll Tea, Sunday, August 4th from 1:00 – 3:30 p.m. This annual event features activities that include a doll fashion show and a themed craft to take home. The children will listen to an original story about the Woolley sisters’ adventures as they sit with their dolls on the quilts made by museum’ volunteers. There will be lemonade and Iced tea to wash down delicious home baked goodies. Purchases can be made at the Doll Boutique which will be selling handmade doll outfits, and attendees will have the opportunity to visit the beautiful Doll House display. This program is for children 5-years and older accompanied by their doll or teddy bear and a young at heart adult.

Reservations are required. Tickets are limited and are on sale now, $30 admits one adult and one child ($10 for each additional child and $25 for an additional adult). Call 732.531.2136 or 732.531.6040 to secure your place or visit oceanmuseum.org (PayPal is available).

The Doll Tea is on the site of the Museum (Library campus), 703 Deal Road, Ocean, NJ.

The Township of Ocean Historical Museum, founded in 1984, is a member-supported, 501 (c)(3) non-profit organization, incorporated under the laws of the State of New Jersey. Its headquarters, the Eden Woolley House, is one of the few 18th-century structures still in existence in the Township. The Museum is open on Thursday Evenings, from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm (March thru November), and Sunday afternoons, from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm. The Township of Ocean Historical Museum offers exhibits on the history of coastal Monmouth County and a full calendar of events. The Museum is also 100% volunteer supported, with no paid staff. The Museum maintains a library and archive, which houses manuscripts, books, and photographs of historical and genealogical interest.
